Welcome to our course on managing diverse teams and leading across cultures.
In a globalised business environment such as ours, we believe that it is imperative for leaders to possess the leadership abilities and knowledge needed to lead effectively across cultures. You will learn how to leverage your cross-cultural experiences to increase your influence and effectiveness in different cultural contexts.
You will gain an understanding of the Cultural Intelligence (CQ) framework, including the four CQ capabilities (Drive, Knowledge, Strategy, and Action) and how to apply them in the workplace. The course will also address the role of implicit bias in global organisations and how we can minimise it from eroding value in your organisation and undermining your effectiveness as a leader. Finally, you will learn how to create an action plan to develop critical CQ capabilities and to achieve your personal leadership development goals, so as to better meet the needs of your teams and organisations.

Trainer's Profile
Isabella Tan
Isabella graduated in 2021 from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Laws and the University of Toronto, with a Master of Laws. In her undergraduate years, she won numerous accolades in international mooting, mediation and negotiation tournaments, including the International Negotiation Competition in 2020 (National and International Round Champions) and the ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition (Runners-Up in the Asia-Pacific Round and Distinction in Creative Option Generation in the International Round). Isabella believes strongly in contributing back to the collaborative dispute resolution community, and has since coached junior competition teams. She was part of the organising committees for the 2020 and 2021 renditions of the Peacemakers Conference, as well as the International Mediation Singapore Competition since 2019. Isabella was also a student consultant with the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI) from 2020 to 2021. She is also a SIMI Accredited Mediator (Level 1).
